Hi, everybody, in this week’s COVID business Zoon catch up, which is run by Startup Tablelands, I’m going to be quickly talking about the seven essential tools required for any modern business, in my humble opinion.

My name is Seamus Campbell, I run a business called Boldacious Digital, and I’m a remote work specialist and a consultant for remote software as well as a website consultant.

So I’m going to show you how I use computers.
I find computers are brilliant at storing information, and, you know, sometimes being able to find it again.
Whereas humans are better at creative thought and patterns and things.

So I use my computer to store information. Anything that I ever need to remember again, I put into a product called Evernote which makes it very easy to find stuff again. I use it to: automate mundane tasks that I can’t be bothered doing myself because I find them too boring; to remind me about anything so I don’t have to keep appointments in my head (I’ve got them in my second brain or on Google Calendar) and to type stuff accurately.

So, what this does for me is – it saves me time, and I become far more accurate.
And it makes me far less stressed because I’m using the computer to remind me or to remember things and I know how to find them again.

That’s what I’ll show you this week. This Friday is the zoom meeting. Thank you and I hope to see you all there. Farewell.
