I love to be silly.
I’ve lived on the Tablelands for 50 years (arrived first in 1970—things were a bit different then! still the best place in the world!)
I’m starting a new business based on a concept that should make everyone laugh—if they are not in my intended niche!
Approach at Tablelands Purpose Summit for Business 2.0
I know a few different limiting belief techniques (eg. Belief Closet, now called Clear Beliefs by that wonderful Yank, Lion Goodman—check him out! he’s brilliant and soooo deep)
so far my plan, however, is to use Byron Katie’s The Work. I worked with her personally decades ago when visiting my mother on Maui. It was traumatic! She is implacable. I won’t try to be implacable!

Environmental, community and holistic business advocate for the Tablelands compulsively for decades (literally! and I have the wrinkles to prove it!)
I’m always looking around the corner to the future. I love that. It is not always appreciated.
My view around that corner to see what’s coming our way has a new expression: the leaders of the future will not be the “natural” leaders that I was always considered. The leaders of the future in our VUCA present and future (ask Prof Google about VUCA) must have 2 characteristics: complexity thinking and emotional intelligence. hmmmmm what does that mean?
I have an idea that we are moving from individualism in leaders to collaborative leadership. My present striving is to approach this. I am amazed at how many Tablelanders resonate with this. I love it! I’m finding my tribe right here at home—at last! thank you, tribe!
I love purpose. I’m learning to do Purpose + Profit. hard lessons for me.
