Startup and InnovationTablelands (ST) continues to serve and support our entrepreneurial and business community and is blasting along right now with the highest satisfaction ratings ever achieved from its members and friends.
And we have booked Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur, Leanne Kemp, as our AGM’s Guest Speaker for the 22nd September! (more AGM details here, including nomination forms). She will be here in person at Destiny Cafe on Loder Street in Atherton.
Leanne Kemp is Founder and CEO of Everledger and Queensland Chief Entrepreneur. She is a prominent figure in the technology sector and recognised internationally as an innovator and leader. Her company Everledger uses Blockchain technology to track high-value assets such as diamonds, art and wine with the aim of increasing transparency and trust with technology.
In 2018, her entrepreneurial success saw her appointed as the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur in Australia, to develop the State’s Start-up ecosystem, attract investment and support job creation. She is the first woman entrepreneur to hold this position. In 2019 her tenure as Chief Entrepreneur was extended for another year, the first time the role has been extended, since its creation.
Leanne works on a global scale to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation and is an advocate of sustainability in business.
And she is a highly entertaining and engaging speaker, with a wealth of stories to share.
COVID is still with us, so the need to stay flexible remains a priority. ST will run Leanne’s talk and Q&A as a hybrid event; in person at Destiny Cafe on Loder Street in Atherton, (next to ST’s Tablelands Business Hub) and, simultaneously, online for the whole world to see and hear. ST and the Tablelands reach out to the world and stick to social distancing guidelines.
