The two previous TPSB’s (2018, 2019) explored some inner aspects of business (eg purpose, consciousness, intuition, limiting beliefs).
That exploration was done using techniques which have been documented in human history for 5000 years, using only our biologically derived capacities. Those techniques have been continually upgraded over those millenia and have evolved considerably in the last century or so with the helping hand of science.
Science has “intervened” to verify, or lambaste, various techniques such that improvements through validation (or de-validation) have proceeded with increasing frequency, especially since our scientific ability to peer inside of our brains has exploded through diagnostic resources like fMRI, EEG, etc. These “magical” aids to our understanding of ourselves have only seriously affected our ability to understand ourselves in the last decades.
A prime example: meditation has been a mainstay of religious experience for all of those millenia but only recently has been scientifically validated as perhaps the exemplar of an ancient technique with high validity for modern business. And, of course, for life beyond business.

In 2020 we will add to our exploration of the inner aspects of business using techniques that have been invented and refined through human agency and through our distinctive characteristic of creating tools of increasing complexity. Our exploration will proceed using our human biologically endowed abilities but with critical additions. We have been endowed with our tool creation abilities, however, nature did not endow us with those inventions, only with the capacity to invent.
Our innate capacity for innovation has also required a long pathway to today’s ultra-technical societies.
Where has it led us in terms of the inner life of business? It has led to an increasing utilisation of personalised and affordable gadgets which have only started to blossom in this newest millennium.
Some of these are the additional technical devices that we will be introducing to the Tablelands in the 2020 TPSB. These technical advances are what differentiates this Summit from the previous ones. They may, indeed, soon become essential to best business practices and are already helping early adopters to become more effective in business.
It is time for the Tablelands to be an early adopter rather than straggling along well behind the rest of the world.
These innovations for increasing our inner harmony and readiness for productivity and creativity plus flow are already cheap enough and readily available.
Tablelands businesses, let’s get on the front foot and try out these amazing devices which could be just what we need to live productively and abundantly on our beloved Tablelands without trashing the very place we so value in order to make a living. Let’s try for inner revolutions through external technology. This could be so positive for each of us, for our businesses and for our Tablelands! Let’s have a go!
